Guarene town center (five-minute walk), offers a wide landscape over Roero and
Langhe hills, over the city of Alba and, beyond, over the Alps. The town
of Guarene was founded at the end of the first millennium. It was a small village,
defended by the walls of the wonderful Castello Reale (safe refuge in Barocco
style, built by dwellers from Guarene). In the historical center, don't miss
a visit to the Church dedicated to saints Bartholomew and Peter, rebuilt in Barocco
style around 1782, and the Santissima Annunziata Church, renewed in 1699, with
its ancient steeple (not altered in the restoration of 1699). Bed&Breakfast
